Jeffrey H. Harwell, CVA, MAFF, CMEA

Jeff Harwell is the managing Principal of Harwell & Company.

Mr. Harwell earned his M.B.A. from the Neeley School at Texas Christian University and holds the professional designations of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), and Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA).

Mr. Harwell's experience includes valuation for the purpose of merger and acquisition, divorce, tax matters related to gift and estate, shareholder disputes, expert witness testimony, exit planning, lost earnings and economic damages, personal injury, wrongful death and termination, fraud, and asset tracing. Complimenting his valuation experience, Jeff served as a public company financial executive, turnaround and operations consultant, private company president, and owner of a successful start-up manufacturing and distribution company.

Mr. Harwell is an experienced and accomplished speaker, presenter, and instructor. He has taught at the university level as an adjunct faculty member and is a frequent speaker and presenter at educational meetings held by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and its State Chapters.

Mr. Harwell was awarded the Outstanding Member Award by NACVA in 2012. He is a member of its Standards Committee and State Chapter Committee, as well as the Education and Quality Assurance Board and Ambassador’s Editorial Board. He is a frequent author of business valuation articles and training presentations. As State Chapter President of Texas, Jeff Harwell was awarded NACVA’s State Chapter President Leadership Award in 2009 and was a State Chapter Committee Honoree in 2010 and 2011.
